Sophie is a 18-year-old photographer in the Maryalnd/DC area who shoots everything from Bat Mitzvahs to birthday photo shoots, campaigns to concerts, food to film festivals.
She attends American University in DC, works on campaigns year-round, and teaches photography for two weeks every summer at ArtFarm Annapolis' Fearless Girls Photography Camp, a program she attributes her love of photography to after being a camper for two years. Her bad ass photographer mom might have something to do with it too.
In 2018, she started Females in Focus, a non-profit dedicated to teaching photography and entrepreneurship to girls in under represented communities of Annapolis. On it's own and through partnerships with The City of Annapolis, FIF has already put on a weeklong summer camp, after school workshops, and pop up workshops for young photographers in it's first year running.
